I’m not going to weigh in on any of the convos about scope of practice expansion. (Quite frankly, my opinion on it doesn’t matter.)

I’ll say this - fighting with the “opposition” on Twitter doesn’t fix the issues. Attacking someone because they are a PA, MD, NP etc is a problem.
A medical professional, who wasn’t even involved in any discussions, has been chased off this platform. This person won’t be returning because their employer was tagged and someone decided to reach out directly via email.
I get that these are really, really reallllly hot button issues. I’ve had a ton of conversations with folks in private. (Thank you for educating me.)

What I don’t understand is why anyone would go out of their way to attack people who aren’t involved in these discussions.
It’s misdirected anger and no one benefits.

Same team. Even with all the issues. You’re on the same team.

Work with organizations, do advocacy, lobby...don’t bully and harass. Please.
