the saddest part about what skip said about dak is it seems from watching that clip that skip has long carried a load that’s weighed him down. had there been a dak in his youth, he may have related to him and taken solace in qb1 for the cowboys sharing his struggles.
it’s easy to dunk on skip right now, but i didn’t see a monster. i saw pain and a man who sees the only solution is to keep on going. that’s how he’s gotten by. that ain’t an easy road, man.
i mean, i guess. you can pile onto me after you pile onto him, but i can contribute more than just jumping on skip with the rest of you. he was wrong, but it's pretty easy to see how he got there. and that's worth discussing. https://twitter.com/Jody_McFly/status/1304158799536820224
what would be an appropriate time, sir? https://twitter.com/SolisReport/status/1304179628823646208
when would you like that time to be, sir? https://twitter.com/SolisReport/status/1304190399003590657
what strikes me here is skip isn't offering an outlier opinion. what he thinks is prevalent. it's problematic, obviously, but simply calling someone an idiot on this ain't gonna do much, especially not when how people get to where he is is both obvious and relatable.
but, if you just wanna be mad at skip and how the world how mad you are, you're probably not gonna like me thinking about this a little rather than simply reacting.

but you do what you do. don't tell me how to do it when i'm not disrespecting anyone, tho. i won't abide by that.
if i had a problem with what skip said, it was taking this incredibly vulnerable moment from dak and reducing it to how it'll affect his football team. no matter what he said, whether true or not, that was a bad move.
but i have more pity for someone who doesn't think you can acknowledge your own pain than i have anger that such a person feels that way.

but that's me. you can certainly be as mad as you want.
you've been watching skip on tv for how long? you know how it looks when he's putting on a show. that's not what i saw in that clip. https://twitter.com/weaseliscious/status/1304193332793368576
i get that, too. but something i've picked up on when people say stuff like that...the way he's talking about dak is probably the way he talks about -- and to -- himself. do with that what you will. https://twitter.com/FriendlyNerd/status/1304193952418009088
i can see that, too. but the last thing i'm gonna do is let skip bayless dictate how i treat anybody. including skip bayless. https://twitter.com/dontforgetmac/status/1304194282027446272
rest of you have that covered, buddy. i don't think this is a case where there's only one point worth making.

it'd be different if i was saying anyone was wrong for dunking on skip. i didn't. i don't see the point of *me* doing it. https://twitter.com/_ImNotYourMan/status/1304199389926301697
