What Skip Bayless said today is the reason why there’s a stigma about depression. It’s the reason why people are afraid to open up.

Don’t listen to him.

It takes so much strength to open up about depression, like Dak Prescott did. It’s OK to not be OK. It’s OK to get help.
I’ve lived with depression my entire life. At this point, it feels normal to me. In my mind, I’ve equated it to feeling under the weather — it happens, I go through it, and ultimately I move past it. But it wasn’t always that way. I used to think something was wrong with me.
It’s vital to normalize depression. It’s real, and so many people go through it. The best thing I ever did was open up about it. I know I can call family and friends and say I’m feeling depressed without any hint of judgment from them. We all need that.

It’s OK to not be OK.
