We are getting married in our front yard! That part is free. All the yard work on the other hand

I paid $110 for my dress (not white) and $50 for the coat Iâm going to wear. No pix for those because I guess itâs a surprise? Idk.
Food is being made by a friend as a gift! This is only possible because there will be a grand total of like 10 people at the wedding. (Me, Heather, the kids, the camera people, the officiant, the musician, the food/flower people)

It rains so often in Maryland we have to have a rain plan. One of the plans include the last minute purchase/rental of a tent. Idk how much that runs but we are thinking probably we need to save at least $1000?
We are literally moving our dining room table onto the front lawn for the dinner part. Also weâre using the couch instead of, like, renting chairs. Basically you will all get to see my ikea furniture on the front yard but THAT IS FREE SO
We bought Christmas lights on clearance for the trees last year. (Like $200)
And my kids need clothes! My son is 6â4â so we had to go to a Big and Tall place. (Like $200)

Anyway my point is that it is EXTREMELY HARD to do this much cheaper but it will still be like $10K because weddings are CRAZY.
Our friends just went to the courthouse and it was so intimate and sweet... and CHEAP. Itâs a good way to go and if Heather and I have to get married more than one time next time will be in the courthouse for sure.
