Hello everyone! Since we *still* don't seem to know how to act in public - specifically in medical waiting rooms - let's talk.
1) Put your phone on vibrate. Nobody wants to hear your Baby Shark ringtone blasting out of your back pocket at full volume. This is a room full of people in various types of distress.
2) Use your earbuds. Nobody wants to hear your shitty nu-rock echoing off of the tastefully-tiled waiting room walls.
Headbang on your own time, Skippy, right now we're all sharing space.

3) Keep your mask on your face. "Mask required for entry" doesn't mean that once inside, you get to peel it off your face, stick your mug in the air, and exhale like David Hasslehoff after a gnarly rescue on Baywatch, bro.
4) Don't sit directly next to me.
My forearm is not your armrest - who *raised* you?
See the signs *in the chairs* saying "do not sit - maintain social distancing"? That MATTERS.

5) Be calm. This is a space full of sick people. Don't shout. Don't throw magazines back onto the table. Don't rant about whatever news-thing is on the TV. Show some bearing.
In summary, let's all follow Grandma's advice and "act like you've been here before".
We'll all be better for it.
