Good for you. Your lived experience is not the only experience, and if your lived experience fits a stereotype that we *know* people outside the community use to come after us, you owe it to the community to acknowledge yours is not the only one.
Key word: acknowledge.

You don't have to give an educational lecture. There are ways to do this and make it flow naturally.
I'm just asking y'all to put in an iota of effort to help support and protect the rest of us.
You know you can get sensitivity readers for x marginalization even if you belong in that group? That's a thing you can do!
It's especially vital to rep your own community nonproblematically when it's a community that has so little rep and so many widely-believed, dangerous misconceptions surrounding it that we're still struggling to dismantle in the public eye.
