We have taken a long hard look in the mirror over the last few months to examine our culture, practices & policies in light of the long overdue public discussion about racism in the UK.
We must ensure we are a place that is fully inclusive, that promotes equality, has a greater diversity in its workforce, is not just ‘not racist’ but is truly anti-racist, a place where we respect the unique worth of every individual
While I'm proud we have a culture where staff have said that they feel that they can bring their 'whole selves' to work, I’m concerned we're still behind where we should be for all communities: Black, Asian & Minority ethnic, LGBTQIA+, seen & unseen disabilities, religious groups
Hands up – we’ve not done enough. We can & will do better. If you feel you can support @CLIC_Sargent stand up, be the change we want to see; create action rather than words this could be a perfect role for you. Nothing ever changes without collective action.
