On #WorldSuicidePreventionDay
I wanted to take a look back at some of the work the Duke of Sussex has done for mental health over the years. You can see a summary of 5 instances here: https://www.elitedaily.com/p/5-times-prince-harry-talked-about-mental-health-showed-theres-strength-in-vulnerability-12640981

Of course, this list is not exhaustive, and Harry has taken part in several PSAs as well, including one that is very close to my heart, the Campaign to Change Direction. The campaign aims to educate us to recognize the 5 signs of emotional suffering https://vimeo.com/164325450
It also speaks about the importance of a simple "Are you okay?" to someone who is suffering. I can attest to that; in my lowest points when I have no longer wanted to be alive, being asked those 3 words made a world of difference. They pushed me to get help&I'm here today.
Seeking help can be scary, especially when you don't have the support of your loved ones, but it will be the best decision you will make. There is no shame in asking for help. Love yourself, forgive yourself, give yourself a chance, and remember:
"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have left."
It gets better.
It gets better.
