wow this country pays its entry level animators less than minimum wage, this proves western animation is bad to me the man who has 2 brain cells spinning electron like around a single dorito in my fucking brain
I read somewhere that the reason so many studios pump out so many new IP's for just a season then drop it for something else is so they can keep making and selling new merchandise. New seasons sell more merch than season 2's of existing shows, so its just a non stop grind.
i dont like being too cynical but considering how a lot of animation here in the west was originally (and still) made to sell toys.... its not like thats an alien concept to the animation industry
