I am pushed to a level where I have to just say it. Stop asking young #KashmiriPandits what they have done for the community. I am sorry we were too busy living miserable lives and building ourselves. So, we don't fall into misery and darkness again.
We are busy giving our parents some comfort, helping them live a decent life where they can afford small luxuries. That, my dear haters, is a big deal. I respect those who represented us on TV debates (well not all), who wrote and spoke about us, but we had to do the hardwork.
Next time you come at me or any other young KP asking what have we done for the community, be ready to tell me what you have done for us. What right do you have to be holding me answerable for my struggles? Especially non-kps and those who have never seen the post exodus phase.
Today some of you are telling me that people shouting on TV, who have never seen camps in their vicinity, will represent my community and tell us what we should say and feel? Sorry but NO. We the people, every individual, who has built their lives from scratch will decide that.
It's very convinient to wake up after 30 years and say oh you didn't write a good book or oh you didn't make a good movie or what have you done to represent the community. How pathetic should you be to say that to us who have never asked you- where were you all these years?
We should be asking you all :
Where were you?
Why hasn't anyone being convicted in crimes related to KPs in 1990s?

For one last time- We have fought our battles single-handedly and I for one will never allow someone else to take advantage of my struggle to build their image.
