Still Sept, so still @AmerMedicalAssn #WomenInMedicine Month!

Last weeks Follow 5, made me realize I need to increase coverage, so I present to you Follow 15 Friday Female physician edition.

A day early because I'm out of the office tomorrow!
Our first of Follow 15 Friday female physicians is @BurgartBioethix, one of the bazillion anesthesiologists I follow. She doesn't need a mask to knock you out, she can do it with a lullaby...seriously, a voice like an angel! And a genuinely great human
Number 2 for Follow 15 Female Physicians is @drcopps
Dr. Copps is a Dermatologist (but please don't send pictures of your rashes...) but you'll also get some unapologetic social consciousness.
The third Follow 15 Friday Female Physician is @DrLindaMD, family physician and, like many of today's entry, author! He novel, The Scent of Jasmine, covers the personal side of breast cancer.
The 4th Follow 15 Friday, Female Physician Edition is the largest account I am tweeps with. @DrJenGunter is author of The Vagina Bible and host of her own TV Show! She will also be the lone non-Schitts gif, since way back when I made a bunch of gifs for her, so she gets her own!
Number 5 Follow 15 female physician is our second consecutive Canadian ObGyn. @DrLeslea has a great twitter feed filled with a mix of personal stories and medical advocacy.
The 6th Follow 15 Female physician Friday is another author and a resident of Motown ( #LGRW) @RanaAwdish authored In Shock about her own experiences and how they made her a better physician
Hopefully, as a parent, you never have to use the services of the 7th Follow 15 Female Physician Friday account. @DrCJohns is a pediatric ER doc and has a twitter feed filled with great evidence based medical information
Number 8 is @madison_healey. All you need to know about Dr. Healey is that when I had a student interested in her school, she gave me her personal info to pass along and had lengthy conversations with her to help her along her medical school journey!
Number 9 on our Follow 15 Female Physician Friday is @JillGrimesMD, author of The Ultimate College Student Health Handbook. Our third author on today's list, Dr. Grimes promotes health, wellness, and preventative medicine!
On to double digits! Number 10 is @aalkermd
Despite spelling her name wrong, Dr. Alker is a wonderful source of medicine and policy, having been featured on national and international news shows for her expertise.

Though I'm still waiting on my dog-sitting invitation...
Number 11 on Follow 15 Female Physician Friday is our third Canadian ObGyn, @FionaMattatall who offers a feed with a good mix of medicine, policy and personal experiences.
Number 12 on the Follow Fifteen Female Physician Friday has loads of health and wellness of her feed. Go ahead and challenge her to a handstand competition...she'll win!
Number 13 of Follow 15 Female Physicians Friday is @DocScribbles who will fill your twitter feed with her artistry, though as an IM/Peds fellow, you'll wonder how she has the time to put our such amazing and informative art work!
No. 14 of Follow 15 Friday entry is host and producer of the JAMA Clinical Guidelines Synopsis podcast series. @MS_Martinez_MD and another of the #docswhorock
Her current pinned post is a great rendition of Smashing Pumpkins 1979...go give it a listen!
The final of our Follow Fifteen Friday, Female Physician edition is @MDNidhi who I'm putting out here as a great follow despite her obvious flaw of being a buckeye...(It's not easy typing that...) We can forgive that...for now...
You can follow @bcbiochemist.
