Because most of these people PURSUE EDUCATION TO MAKE A LIVING. Some of us pursue knowledge/ Education to be better THINKERS. Most are SCHOOLED. Few are EDUCATED. I have chosen to be EDUCATED, especially outside the confines of the classroom.

So go get degrees. Bcoz the system requires. But self educate. And be remembered for something, as someone. Something must set you apart from your peers. Young women, we are not as aggressive as guys in pursuing knowledge.

Go to any intellectual's timeline especially one who comments on politics and current affairs(local and international). Pick ten comments, how many are from ladies? Go to Kilimani mums where gossip is rife, pick 10 comments, how many from ladies?

Go to Parliament, pick the BEST TEN DEBATERS. Don't tell me about few women in bunge, every county is represented by a woman. How many of your ten best debaters are women? You can't debate without substance. Without grasp of issues and history.
