1. 9/8/20 Tues morning having coffee wife & I learn that Trump is going to visit Jupiter, arriving at 2:55PM, we decide to go. At noon Wife & I pick a spot at the intersection he will have to pass, they will have two ways to come in we guess which one the secret service will use
2. We plant our lawn chairs, there’s just a few people there. 1P at least 100 have arrived. Signs & MAGA gear everywhere, 1:30P maybe 300, cars honking, Trump decorated pick up trucks arrive, Trump Boat Parade people pouring in, Trump bikers, cars & big trucks blowing horns,
3. people chanting, vendors roaming the crowd, people hanging out of car windows cheering. 2:00P a lot of people all sides of the road everybody having a good time, happy, cops smiling & being thanked. 2:15 wife & I got our first bird some lady in a Prius (very few more)
4. 2:30P now it’s crowded, a rock band sets up & starts playing an original tune, “CNN Sucks”. It’s a party. See 3 Biden signs & 1 flag about 6 people in far corner the intersection. Rep Brian Mast visits the crowd. No news crews there I looked for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, nada.
5. Very Strange. We are a couple of hundred yards from the entrance of the Lighthouse speech location. Huge Audio truck all Trumped out keeps circling play Trump rally songs loudly. Big bus covered with Anti-Biden messages keeps circling with the bikers, pick-up trucks,
6. audio truck all in a line, huge cheer every time around. Can’t guess size of crowd gotta be more than 1000. Some addition police swoop in get cheered and they move the crowds on to the sidewalks & off the medians.
7. Every thing stops, traffic gone, gets real quiet, then the roar of the motorcycles, blue lights blinking & sirens whooping moving quickly, noise of the crowd overwhelms the vehicles, 3 or 4 powerful Black SUV’s , then we see the “Beast” go by but couldn’t tell if he’s in it
8. then another “Beast” comes by little slower, President Trump is up against the back window with a huge smile waving hard. Then motorcycle cops, must have been 50 rows of 2, the cheering actually grew and kept growing as row after row of the Police motorcycles went by.
9. If you are discouraged &/or worried about the future of this country, know that if people like those at that intersection are still the majority we are in good shape. I was proud to see Patriots of all races & ages (many young people) celebrating this President & the Police.
10. The Trump Flotilla people told us their event the day before was so overwhelming that it brought many of those on the boats to tears. God Bless this President. We got home and set up Xfinity to record all local TV news reports so we would be sure to see the coverage.
11. We watched the ABC station live, they showed the President speaking & reported how he extended the oil drill ban of the coast that was already in place & how he took the opportunity to trash Biden.
12. They then cut to a remote reporter standing with maybe 15 or twenty people by the road with Biden flags & signs protesting the President. We saw that they were about a ¼ mile from the intersection Trump went through so he didn’t even see them or them he.
13. Reporter said the Trump protest was set up by the Palm Beach County Democrat party; they interviewed a couple of protesters, who disparaged the President. There was no reporting or video of the huge Trump welcome on this ABC News program.
14. We couldn’t believe it & checked the recordings of the other three networks; CBS, NBC, FOX same results, interview of a couple of Biden protestors by different reporters at the location that the President didn’t pass.
15. Were they stupid or was it intentional? I like to think that Trump out smarted them and avoid them, but they knew we were there the whole town heard us for hours. West Palm Beach is the TV market where the President lives this behavior by supposed professionals is childlish
