Why are resources donated for advocacy and care for trans children being used to push for trans widows rights to be taken away?

This is another example of children being used as pawns in the push for self ID, by adult transitioners and their allies. I can see no other reasonable explanation.
And why is Mermaid’s legal adviser, like many other people in this debate, misrepresenting the law?
