Perhaps one of the most egregious things about Trump knowing exactly how deadly and contagious the coronavirus was back in Feb 7 and not telling anyone is that he and Fox flooded his base with mockery of it, and he encouraged mask protests and gatherings from his supporters. /1

People NOT in Trump's base read other news sources and were already prepared to question Trump's lies about the coronavirus, but his base stays in his propaganda bubble. Trump did not care if they caught the virus and died, so long as they went out in public to support him. /2

The man in the highest office of our country, responsible for the protection of all, was and is willing to send his own supporters out to risk death just to make himself look good in the press.

His supporters won't get it. They never do. /3

Wait, maybe this is worse. Trump has pushed for, raged about, rallied about, and lied about the safety of OUR CHILDREN, to get them back to school, knowing - on record, on tape since at least March, that they are at risk. /4

So, I'll stop here because I just realized I could go with this thread all day on which aspect of Trump's massive lies about coronavirus, his constant efforts to STOP safety and mitigation practices, his total mockery of wearing masks, etc, which is worse. It's all the worst. /5

Trump & Pence are going to do a blitz of Fox interviews and presser bullshit and spin - trying to reassure the base that despite being on tape with Woodward, nothing they see or hear is real - they just have to continue to take their Trump Love Pill every day. /6
