In spirit of humility and depoliticising Covid, here are things I’ve changed (and continue to change) my mind on:
- Masks
- School reopening
- Importance of "luck" in between-country variations in severity
- Relative effects of different NPIs
- "Lockdowns" vs individual behaviour
The main reasons for all that mind changing are:
• A "Covid papers" Chrome bookmark folder that gets fuller by the day
• Following/reading/listening to lots of people who have opposing takes on these things
• Enjoying the process of learning about things I hadn’t considered
I’ll share more details on each of those first 5 points later on, but for now I have stories to story and charts to chart
