Most of us suffer from chronic exhaustion

We just don't realize it because we've suffered from it for so long that we don't even know how it feels like to be well rested anymore

Main causes for our fatigue?
- Awful sleeping patterns
- Constant use of technology
- Coffee intake
We view going to bed late as a sign of adulthood

As little kids we had to go to bed at 7, then it became 8, then 9, 10, 11, 12

Gives you a warped view of healthy bed time

Historically bedtimes almost never went past 10 pm

Much healthier to sleep from 10 to 6 than from 12 to 8
The second biggest culprit of constant fatigue is modern technology

Using technology means you're using your brain actively

Whether it's watching a movie, being on your phone or playing video games

Your brain is working hard, even if it doesn't feel like it is
Modern Technology is extra fatiguing for the brain because we use it to relax

We watch movies or play video games after a day of hard work, when our brains are already tired

We go on our phones during our breaks

Time meant for resting becomes active time for the brain
B ad sleeping habits combined with active technology use, means your brain gets almost no time to recuperate

Which means that you're permanently tired

Worse reflexes, worse willpower, worse decision making

But you don't realize it because it's how you feel each day
Coffee finally is a catch22

You drink it because you feel drowsy and tired

But caffeine starts to hold you hostage until you can't perform without it anymore

And you have to drink it just to go from 70% up to 90%

Caffeine exhausts you long term
