Thrilled to confirm the @nzherald will have guaranteed daily racing coverage every day for the next year. Working with all three codes and the TAB we will have a heavy emphasis on news and punting as well as videos to tell NZ racing’s stories.1/4
This has been achieved by the codes and TAB working together with the paper’s bosses understanding racing is part of New Zealand. The stories will be the key, with plenty of fields still run but us realizing many punters now head on-line for their in-depth form analysis 2/4
I think it’s important racing is part of the mainstream media landscape in this country and appreciate the codes and the Herald giving me the chance to co-ordinate the coverage. You won’t always like what you read but I promise you racing’s issues good and bad will be discussed
