In all seriousness the problem with a vacuum of leadership in this case of abuse and many others is that it leaves victims to do all the hard work themselves. exhausting for them and re-abusing as they are forced to re-articulate what they've been through.

What they need is for those above them to speak frequently and honestly about the issues so that victims begin to feel that the constituency that has so harmed them
might just be a safe space to stay and one that can and is changing.

I feel none of that right now in the CE constituency. The silence is damaging people.
