Last year player values didn’t change until either GW2 or GW3. I’m not sure if that’s either a) a specific protection that FPL in, or b) whether it just takes that long to get enough transfers to effect a change in price.

We’ve never started a season with two high profile teams blanking, so lots of managers are planning on selling Salah/Mane in GW2 to buy United assets and selling Auba in GW3 for City assets.

Keep your eyes on net transfers through the first weeks if you’re planning on bringing in city/united assets slowly - it may well be worth taking a hit to avoid being priced out of your planned purchases.
