The Nobel Peace prize (which only exist because of the guilt feelings combined with the naivety of Alfred Nobel) should be abolished and replaced by a Human Rights prize. Peace is never achieved because politicians “want peace”, it is achieved because when circumstances become

such that peace becomes preferable to war both to nations & politicians. The Roman maxim “Si vis pacem, para bellum” remains as valid today as ever. “Human rights”, on the other hand, are a different matter - defending them is as much as matter of morality and conscience as of

policy. Trump has certainly shown not the slightest concern for human rights, in fact the phrase is clearly meaningless to him. But, he did facilitate the formal signing of the peace between UAE and Israel. And what’s more, one can be sure that if the Nobel Prize Winner Obama was

still president, he, Kerry and Ben Rhodes would have done everything in their power to derail this peace treaty. And this is provable.
