I didn't made up this story, I read some articles about it to make sure that I know every details. I just wanted to share it to you guys for some reasons (that I'll tell you later)
— Way back 2013, Isabella Guzman was 18 year old that time and was arrested for killing her biological mother, Yun-Mi Hoy.
—Isabella killed her mother by stabbing her. The autopsy found that there were 31 stab wounds on her mother's face and 48 stab wounds on the neck.
—But subsequent evaluation determined that there were more knife wounds.
—They said that Isabella stabbed her mother 151 times all in all.
—Ryan Hoy, Isabella's step father called Aurora Piloce Dispatch.
—He told the operator that Isabella and her mother were inside the bathroom of their residence and he could see blood coming out of the door.
—Ryan Hoy added that police had been called earlier in the day because of ongoing strife between Isabella and her mother.
—7News revealed that Isabella's biological father, Robert Guzman, had spoken to her about her "teen rebelliousness".
—"I went to talk to her because her mother was worried and wanted me to talk to Isabella." Robert told the station.
—And yes, Robert Guzman, Isabella's biological father talked to her.
—Robert Guzman said that he went to Isabella to talk to her.
—They sat down in the backyard looking at the trees and the animals and they talked.
—Robert told Isabella about the respect that people should have for their parents.
—"I was trying to let her know that she should be obedient to her parents, not rebellious, that she should try to listen more and everything was going to be fine." says Robert Guzman
"In the conversation, I thought that I made progress." Robert added.
"But obviously it didn't do nothing, because hours later, this thing happened."
"But obviously it didn't do nothing, because hours later, this thing happened."
*Back to what exactly happened*
—Ryan was still on the phone with the 911 dispatcher as he tried to open the bathroom door, which had been locked shut. He subsequently told the operator that his wife was lying dead, her body was near a baseball bat ,
and Guzman, wearing a pink sports bra and turquoise shorts, was holding a knife.
—As Isabella left, Ryan attempted to revive his wife, but to no avail. Not only had her throat been slashed, she had been repeatedly stabbed. 31 on the face, 48 on the neck and more knife wounds were found on her body.
So all in all, Isabella stabbed her mother 151 times (based on the autopsy)
—When cops rolled up, they thought that Isabella have been still in the vicinity, but she managed to elude capture, at least for a while.
—At 11:30 AM, the next day, officers were called to a parking garage on a report of a body inside a car. Fortunately, no body was found, but police say they located items that seemed to have links to the previous evening's violence.
—Then, someone spotted Isabella trying to walk out of the garage. But as indicated, from a nearby bulding, Isabella didn't get far.
—She was taken into custody formally charged with first-degree murder.
—Isabella underwent extensive psychological examination and found out that she suffered from 'Paranoid Schizophrenia'.
—Paranoid schizophrenia is characterized by predominantly positive symptoms of schizophrenia, including delusions and hallucinations. These debilitating symptoms blur the line between what is real and what isn't, making it difficult for the person to lead a typical life.
—That means that Isabella was hallucinating and delusional that time.
—The Pounds said that there were obvious signs of hallucinating when the murder incident happened.
—They said that Isabella was staring into space, having conversations with people who were not present or not really there with her.
—Because of the hallucinations, Isabella was convinced that her mother was and "evil being" who had to be killed in order to save the world.
—Now, however, the judge has accepted that Isabella's not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity plea in the same jurisdiction where prosecutors are continuing to seek the death penalty. (WHICH WAS THE RIGHT DECISION
.)

—According to the article that I read, Isabella was treated at the state hospital with her release to be determined by her condition.
—Isabella Guzman was accepted as innocent due to her condition. She was not in a very good state, when she killed her mother.
—On the article that I read, there's no statement about her condition rigt now. So I guess, that's all.
