The first great war of Aryavrata or Bharat. Wait it's not Mahabharata. It took place before Mahabharata. One of the greatest war of vedic era about which many people still don't know. A great war which changed the entire scenario of Ancient Indian History.

The main character of this war was the great kshatriya Emperor Sudas of Bharata kingdom. He belonged to Trutsu family. He was one of the greateat emperor who led various victorious campaigns in the banks of Vipas and Sutudri.

But it somewhere also created the misunderstandings between Vishwamitra and King Sudas.

After that King Sudas sacked Vishwamitra due to misunderstandings and appointed Maharishi Vashisth as the priest.
Thereupon, a long and bitter rivalry enused b/w the two priests and Vishwamitra led ten kings against the Bharata kingdom, which started the ten king war!

The ten kings were from the kingdoms of Puru, Yadu, Turvasa, Anu and Drhyu, Alina, Paktha, Bhalanas, Siva and Visvanin.
In the bloody and decisive battle on the banks of River Parusni, the Bharats emerged victorious, utterly routing the ten kings.

The kings of Anu and Druhyu kingdoms were drowned, while Purukutsa, King of the Puru Kingdom met his death.
There was an another battle in which Sudas fought with Ajas, Sigrus and Yaksus who had united under King Bheda, but these new assailants also met the same fate

After the humiliating defeat from the hands of Sudas, all of them migrated to different parts of the world, like - Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Albania, Greece, etc.
