Andhra Pradesh: We found that 70 % of 29,841 Christian pastors who received one-time honorarium of Rs. 5K through 'Disaster Relief Fund' are holding Hindu SC/OBC Caste Certificates.
Wrote to National SC & BC commissions on this state assisted incentive to convert to Christianity
Requested both commissions to conduct inquiry & to constitute a fact finding committee to Andhra Pradesh. Also wrote to Hon'ble Governor of AP to conduct inquiry & arrange to cancel the Hindu community certificates of Christian pastors, wherever dual religious identities exist.
Also pleaded for disgorgement of benefits enjoyed so far through misuse of dual religious identities. Since Govt. of AP is going to commence payment of monthly honorarium to Christian pastors, immediate action is needed to stop further misuse of precious tax payer funds.
