Sorry for the delay on my rookie LB part 2 pod, The Stashes. I haven't had time to record, getting set for the week of football and working on some new stuff for the site. So I do not keep you waiting longer I decided to do a thread since starting next Monday will be weekly
Content, so here it is.
Troy Dye - Minnesota Vikings
Dye is a guy i had in my top 5 LBs for the 2020 class early in my analysis. He flies all over the field and is solid in coverage. What he has in heart and play style he lacks in size though wouldn't know with his tackle

Ability. He likely won't see much time this year being behind Vikings staples Erik Kendricks and Anthony Barr and falls behind Eric Wilson as well who played solid in 2019. Barry has underwhelmed in my opinion throughout his career as he was never used to his strengths. Out of
College he should have played outside linebacker but the Vikings chose to make him an off ball linebacker. He has been good but had so much talent wasted. Barr and Kendricks are both under contract til 2023 with no clear outs so for Dye to play he will need injury or trade.
Make no mistake though if given an opportunity, Dye has the ability to shine.

Some safety as well though his instincts in coverage could use some work. The Eagles drafted him into one of the least talented or at least defined libebacker groups in the NFL. Duke Riley has never lived up to his hype and more or less won the SAM job by default when Jatavis
Broen retired. Trent Edwards barely played as a rookie and when he did his play wasn't eye popping. Edwards lacks elits physical tools though has a great NFL IQ and plays concepts well in zone. Nate Gerry is the only one who has shown potential to be a 3 down LB. Taylor has a
Chance to wait until Riley plays miserable again and Edwards may be moved to SAM while Gerry moves to the MIKE and Taylor to the WILL. At the very least I wouldn't be surprised to see Taylor play in sub packages.

Land with the Broncos. He posses a skill set that none of the othe LBs on the tesm has and that is coverage skills. The day he was drafted by the Broncos he became their best coverage LB. Then Todd Davis was injured and it was Strnad's time to shine only to injure himself and
Land on IR. Strnad still does not face stiff competition for 2021 with AJ Johnson and Josey Jewell, as Todd Davis was released. Strnad is one to keep on your taxi squad.

Terrell Lewis - Los Angeles Rams
Lewis is a highly talented outside linebacker out of Alabama. He landed in
A good spot in LA as the team has struggled mightily on the edge to help Aaron Donald in pass rush, with the exception of Dante Fowler Jr. in 2019. Fowler is hone and Lewis does not face great competition. He will battle with Samson Ebukam who has been OK throughout his career
But is no league winner. He will also battle former 1st roubd pick Leonard Floyd who in his own right has never lived up to his draft capital. Of Lewis can shine early in the season he will at least be part of a pass rush rotation and if he really shines can supplant one of the
Two and start sone his rookie season.
Akeem Davis-Gaither - Cincinnati Bengals
Davis-Gaither is a small school stud. He has a small from but oaks a mean pop. His polish in run defense and his ability to get into the backfield is uncanny for a guy his size. His coverage ability

Is not elite by any means but is serviceable. He landed with the Bengals who obviously were not happy with the state of their LB corps as they signed veteran Josh Bynes and also drafted 3 LBs. Davis-Gaither will likely sit second string behind Bynes and Pratt and an extra DB
To start the season but Bynes isn't getting younger and Pratt showed sone big holes in his game his rookie season. Logan Wilson will get the first shot to start but Davis-Gaither won't be far behind.
