Everyone I know who voted for Trump last time is doing it again. To varying degrees, they all live in a self-selecting media bubbles where they believe conspiracy theories from Facebook and/or Fox News.

The common threads seem to be white supremacy and the total absence of media literacy education. It's cool that we gave everyone the internet, it's a little rough that we didn't teach anybody that videos can be doctored.
They also fundamentally do not understand how newspapers or reporting works. It's all a vast evil monolith.
If Trump is defeated, it's going to be with money, time off from work, mail-in voting, and rides to the poll station. Not a big October Surprise on CNN that makes him look like a real doofus.
Compartmentalization, defensiveness, and hypocrisy will accommodate literally anything the president does. The only way to win is by actually winning, not by waiting for him to suddenly lose.
