He only wanted to do reports on Russia and white supremacy

I've talked about the deep politicization of the IC before & my experiences in it, but wow

This is how most of the IC works:

- Wake up
- Read WaPo, turn on CNN
- Get narrative
- Push 'assessments' that fit narrative
- Dismiss reports that conflict with narrative
- Text about how Trump voters smell like Walmart
- Repeat

These are the type of people who submit themselves for awards
