BREAKING: The California Supreme Court has ruled *against* Reedley's @ImmanuelbyFaith and other schools that had challenged the closures indicated by the state's coronavirus emergency order.
The Court's opinion is not yet posted.
Fresno County's injunction case is still set for a local judge to hear next week, but county leaders anticipated he would follow the lead of the California Supreme court.
The county also served an inspection warrant at Immanuel Schools today.
This is the approved warrant, signed by Judge Tharpe, the same judge who denied the county's request for a temporary restraining order.
The county told Judge Tharpe their inspectors went to check the school's cafeteria and asked to check the rest of the school, but Principal Goertzen refused.
Dr. Zweifler said he saw nearly nobody wearing masks or pracitcing social distancing.
So, they got the warrant.
You may remember, Immanuel told the court it believes its students and staff have achieved herd immunity because they believe most everybody caught coronavirus *before* Fresno County believes the virus arrived here. https://twitter.com/corinhoggard/status/1298369171659476992
