DEQ's #AirQuality Index is experiencing several issues, frm being overwhelmed w/ users. We are offer the following suggestions:

-Visit the @ORSmokeInfo Blog ( http://oregonsmoke.blogspot.com/ ). It contains an interactive graphic w/ data frm our #AQI & other info.
(Cont.)
-Download free OregonAIR app to yr iPhone/Android device. NOTE: We are having intermittent issues w/ the Android app.
AQI data updated hourly & marked in Standard Time (Not Daylight Saving Time).
Currently. several AQ monitors are down due to power outages/fire damage.
(Cont.)
-Go to the national AirNow web page ( http://www.airnow.gov ) & input yr zip code for #airquality in yr region.
-Visit @EPA's resource page ( https://go.usa.gov/xGBPn ) for info on how to reduce yr exposure to smoke.
(Cont.)
-Consult the Oregon Wildfire Resources web site ( https://wildfire.oregon.gov/ ) to stay updated on hot spots, evacuation orders, reporting yr status, etc.

Pls know @OregonDEQ is working hard to fix our AQI monitoring service & hope to have it running smoothly again shortly. #StaySafe
