Love the sword-bearer's design and how strongly African some of them are, with some clear specific cultural references notably from Egypt, Ethiopia and Senegal. These specific African references reinforce these character's ties to the continent and its traditions & cultures

Isca The Unbeaten's design is directly inspired by bodypainting patterns created by the Mursi, Suri and Nuba tribes of East Africa. Bodypainting as a practice however is prevalent across most of the continent.

The design of Isca's sword, similarly to Storm, seem to be inspired by ancient blades from the Kingdom of Congo, known for their close-quarter efficiency

Bei the Blood Moon is another one whose design directly references specific cultural things. His headpiece references Egyptian imagery while the design for the rest of his body reminds me of Senegalese wrestlers and South African warriors

The design for the other 3 is not particularly African however Pogg is seen wielding specifically African weapons, notably the Egyptian khopesh like Apocalypse as well as what seems to be an African battle axe, even if the design is similar to that of a throwing knife
