Michael Jordan built an ultra-exclusive golf club in Florida.

It's a perfect representation of the hypercompetitive 6x NBA Champion and billionaire businessman.

This is the "Grove XXIII"

1) Located in Hobe Sound, the Grove XXIII ("23") was built on a former citrus grove next to the Atlantic Ridge State Park (a 5,800-acre nature preserve).

The club is a 10-minute drive from Medalist, where Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler & other pros are members.

2) The course was designed by Bobby Weed, a protege of legend Pete Dye (whose design portfolio includes TPC Sawgrass, Kiawah Island and Whistling Straits).

Double-Helix Routing: the course can be played in four 9-hole combinations, and shorter 3- and 6-hole loops

4) The clubhouse was designed by NBWW - the firm behind much of Miami's skyline.

“We wanted the precision and flow of the golf swing as well as Michael’s athleticism and corporate finesse to inspire the contemporary form and detailing of the Clubhouse architecture.”

5) The club is ultra-exclusive and there are reportedly less than 100 members. Membership is only extended by invitation of His Airness.

On the @dpshow, new member (and soon to be FL resident) Phil Mickelson said:

“It's a really cool place... He did an exceptional job there.”

6) The practice facilities are outrageous. They include:
