I wanted to put together a thread sharing a few tips for content creation. I take a lot of pride in My content, & I think it shows, so I thought I'd share how I do things! Of course others will have other tips/opinions, but this is just Me

1. Batch your content. Meaning, set aside a few hours every week or so, get yourself ready and shoot a bunch of stuff. Different looks, different poses focusing on different body parts, different moods, a few short video clips. Then, all you'll have to do all week is pick & post!
2. Get yourself some decent lighting. Natural lighting is ideal but not always possible. At least get a ring or box light, they're not too expensive on Amazon. Beware of backlighting! I see so many folks with weird shadows from overhead lights. It makes a huge difference!
3. Tidy your damn room! Or at least the corner you'll be shooting in. Please! It makes a big difference.
4. Different coloured sheets and fairy lights are an easy way to jazz up your set if you have limited space/rooms to shoot in. Some background diversity is always nice!

5. To edit photos, I use:
- Afterlight for filters; sometimes I'll up the saturation or add grain if it fits the vibe.
- I don't edit My body, but Facetune to fix weird blemishes or errant hairs or whatever.
- Snow to blur the background; they have an easy portrait function.

- If I need to censor something for Twitter (feet, usually
), PicsArt. They have lots of cute free stickers.
- Add Watermark to watermark; I recommend watermarking, beware of content thieves!
There are probably apps that do all those things in one, but this is just what I do!

For short clips, I use:
- InShot has nice filters, lets you trim length, lets you add music, and has a few free effects. Additional effects are cheap!
- KineMaster for more elaborate editing; you can blur/zoom in on parts of the frame, for example, and layer clips.

I think that's about it! I use My Samsung Galaxy S9+ to do everything from shooting to editing, so app availability may vary if you're on iOS. But the point is, it's not hard to produce quality content with limited resources.
Obviously content creation isn't for everyone...
