The majority of times,a doctor’s visit is unnecessary. It’s something simple.If,in our professional judgment,a Doctor is necessary,we’re very capable of making the decision to call the doctor. Also,dealing directly with a Pharmacist saves a load of money on the healthcare system.
As just one recent example. A woman customer of mine, diagnosed with “sciatica”, turned out not to have sciatica. For one and one half months, nothing worked. Pain killers, anti inflammatories, muscle relaxants, oral & injected steroids. Nothing worked. ...
I did my research and came to conclusion, two weeks in, her bursar sac was infected and she needed an antibiotic. Afterwards, she saw the top Doc in a top hospital in New York City. Gave her more steroid shots & sent her home...
Was still in enormous pain. Last week, same place, same Docs, decided to do a nerve block. They poked around for the exact nerve. Her whole leg blew up from the underlying infection and now has cellulitis. They put her on iv antibiotic in the hospital for 2 days. Sent her home...
Gave her script for oral antibiotic. Finishing antibiotic, but the nerve pain has disappeared. Every fkn Doctor loves to disrespect our profession, because it’s all about the money. We know more than you think. / Done
