Why I love Not Afraid by Eminem (mini thread):

Normally I’m not for commercializing a sound but in that case I think it’s great, though it’s poppy, it’s always an enjoyable listen, it did go double diamond for a reason.

He had the reputation of a crazy drug addict, almost died, and wanted to make a song with positive messages to help people like him. A lot of people were positively influenced by this song and that is a great thing.

It served as a bit of a comeback and not only is the song motivational but it’s great to see an all time great back on his feet as a person, all music aside.
