First up is @Shelter’s @ArnallRose speaking about her brilliant work to #EndDSSDiscrimination and the legal victories that have happened since lockdown.
In 2018, 1 in 3 renters in receipt of benefit haven’t been able to rent a property because of #NoDSS rules.
DSS isn’t a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010. Not direct discrimination but potentially indirect discrimination as disproportionately impacts women + ppl with disabilities.
