It's football eve, so I'm gonna self indulge and remind y'all of these irreproachable truths about the game and the league we love so much...

Ready...

Thread me...
RBs matter, but only on Monday-Saturday

Mike McCarthy did nothing wrong

Play Action is the lords gift to offensive football
The salary cap is a myth

Sacks are a QB Stat

RB pass pro = bad for offenses
The 3-4 is just the 4-3, but one of the DEs gets a better view

Individual pass rushers matter more than individual DBs

Pass rush vs coverage is a team building argument with no true answer bc it depends on how you want to play defense
LBs don't matter

OL is the second most important position in football

The entire league is year to year, thinking any more than 2 years down the road is futile
The draft is 4 rounds long

4 verts and inside zone are perfect plays.

# of defenders in the box doesn't matter, only the +/- between the B-gaps
Cover 1 is the lord's coverage

DBs are the OL of the defense, DL are the WR of the defense

Young QBs need to be able to move the sticks with their legs to survive in year 1.
BPA is a myth

Player development is not a straight line

Winning close games is a function of luck, good teams don't win them they avoid them
Player tracking data is the key to everything

Scheme fit matters, ALOT

More scheme is not the answer.
Stephen Jones is not our hero....
@'ing a player is clout chasing and you'll get autoblocked in a nano-second if you do it.
That's all I can think of off the dome for now.

You guys are all awesome, I'm neutral on seafoam, and I'm excited to take this crazy journey with you jokers the next few months.

Go Cowboys
