Murder specifically requires intent.
Failure to prevent death in some circumstances may also be considered murder once there is an intention to let the person die

Manslaughter does not necessarily require intent. It can be voluntary or involuntary.
Voluntary - there is a desire to kill due to some mitigating circumstances (e.g. provocation)
Involuntary - conduct where there was no intention to kill, but death did in fact occur

While the punishment for murder is the mandatory death penalty in most of our Commonwealth Caribbean jurisdiction, manslaughter results in imprisonment. #LegalFacts
