Listen people. I voted Bernie in 2016. I support progressive policies. But if you're under the impression that this country and its citizens can withstand 4 more years of Trump lying, cheating, stealing, and bribing with a completely complicit GOP, you're not living in reality.
This IS the most important election of our lifetime. Trump is compromised. He will gladly sit by and watch this country and our democracy dismantle piece by piece. And his cult is radicalized. Once one Trump family member gets in, his base will want them all.
Don Jr, Ivanka, Jared. They will all run. And his base will grow. Why are you willing to hurt the people you claim to be fighting for? Do you think Trump getting more Supreme Court picks will help? I'm asking you to look around here. We are in shambles. You want this to continue?
No one is trying to shame you into voting. You can't fight for progession under a fascist regime. It's not shaming, it's the fucking reality of what's happening to this country. We have A LOT of work to do, I agree and I hear you.
If Trump wins again, Republicans can gain a 7-2 majority in the nation's highest court. We are in grave danger. Please recognize this.
So if you're telling your supporters to sit this election out then be okay with healthcare, LGBTQ rights, women's rights, and any work toward climate crisis to be ripped away. Yeah, that'll show em, right? Make people and our planet suffer more, right? It's selfish. Stop it.
And let's not forget we are still in the middle of a pandemic. 191,000 people have lost their lives and this administration could give a damn. This is all okay to you? I'm severely immunocompromised. I'd like to have an administration that listens to experts.
