Change is the biggest barrier to #innovation
From a recent survey we did at @tonkean w/ ops leaders: 40%-70% of tech implementation or process improvement projects fail due to change management. Here are 4 things you can do:
[1/4] Design your processes #PeopleFirst. Each person has an individual ROI, while we usually only think about the company ROI. Use the "two pillars method" to easily map the two: https://tonkean.com/people-first-ops-design/
[2/4] #NoMoreApps. Seriously. We've got to stop adding a new SaaS app for every small user need. More apps create more interfaces that require change and training, and more data to connect. Leverage the apps people already love to minimize change. Use ABO platforms to extend them
[3/4] Reduce IT / Dev dependency. This year has proven the importance of being adaptive. We need to enable innovation across the business. Leverage #NoCode tools and platforms to increase velocity, while still providing flexibility and control.
[4/4] Empower your #Operations teams. They own the process, they are the gateway to innovation, and they are fighting the cost of change every single day. Get them the tools and tech they need to move your company forward.
