A story about ollie watkins (a thread). A boy who he is a big brentford fan called Woody has Downs Syndrome and autism. Ollie became Woodys favourite player and he would wait after games for him sometimes for 2 hours. He got to know Ollie and he always had time for Woody (1) #avfc
Over time he found out where we sat and would celebrate a goal for Woody. Once he called Woody on to the pitch and gave him a cuddle and his shirt. As we have not been able to go to football he has been face timing Woody and coming to our house to see him (2) #avfc
He played hop skotch and just spent time with him as he knows Woody misses football so much. Every time the team came out he always waved to Woody and signed to him (that's how Woody communicates) (3) #avfc
Woody can say Ollie now and he can recognise number 11. Really such a genuine unpretentious young man with a huge heart.
