on their most recent live that namjoon did on youtube, he was genuinely stressed about showing their production process bc it’s not pretty. + https://twitter.com/dollahobba/status/1303686353453019142
i take this as he’s worried that if they show too much of the process where they deal w disagreements, show frustrations at one another, or just all the uglies in production that fans might misinterpret their dynamic.

instead, we’ve gotten snippet of producing scenes through the members individual work such as joon writing my time in bv4, taejoon writing 4’oclock, minimoni writing promise, yoongi making d2 on tour sitting in a dimly lit hotel room.
it’s unfortunate that you took their documentary as discussing only fame and fans. their brand first an foremost is getting their music to reach us, so ARMY will ALWAYS be the highest priority in their discussion. second, is that this rise in fame is something that they’ve +
repeatedly told us it’s something that they’re still adjusting to. it’s one of the main thing that they struggle with because...well, refer to interlude: shadow.
they are one of the most transparent group of artist bc everything you need to know about them is through music where raw thoughts are shared. the shows are just extras for us to watch in-between waiting to hear more of their stories; through music.
it makes me eerily uncomfortable that some fans are asking/demanding them to give more of themselves when they’re the only ones in the industry that has never and will never give us less.
