(1/7) It's hard to capture all of the brilliant thinking that was shared by @KevinClimate @NickGreenergy and @evaschonveld at our opening #BounceForward webinar on Monday.

If you missed it you can watch/listen back here -

@TTBounceForward
(2/7) @KevinClimate shared the science + figures that might help us understand the type and scale of action needed, as well as a reminder that while there are "some technocratic responses that may help... ultimately it is much more an issue of society, values, community..."
(3/7) @NickGreenergy gave us some insight into his longitudinal study exploring "why environmental movements tend to be green, but mostly white" calling us all to be more attentive to the "durable inequalities racialised minority groups face every day."
(4/7) He believes that the Transition Movement is a "trojan horse of revolutionary possibilities... we operate under the radar but we also must join hands with other movements within our localities."
(5/7) @evaschonveld made the links between the ways that our experiences inform our inner life, the impact of trauma on individuals and societies, and the methods and processes that can enable us to move away from a politics of domination.
(6/7) On Covid-19 she reminded us "it will be a turning point if we make it a turning point. What it's shown to us is that we can decide to change our society radically over night."
(7/7) What most stood out for you in these talks? And how might you take them into the groups and movements that you're part of?
And a sneaky (8/7)
@KevinClimate - "We need multiple narratives. The solutions are going to look messy... climate change is a symptom of something else that's going on in our society..."
