So there happened to be a man who never tasted success in his life. And he chased it for so many years. Tried and tried he did and failure upon failure he suffered. However he never gave up. But one day his effort prevailed and he became a success.
But that success only pushed him for even more success and thus a thirst was developed for glory in his next project.
Now the picture painted out, should bring image to life faster of how hungry Liverpool will be this season. Make no mistake, they were way ahead of their counterparts and closing that point gap isn't going to be closed just by massive transfers.
Most of their points dropped was after securing the title and that comes down to complacency. Only team that comes close is Manchester City.
Fentuo gave solid reasons why he thinks Chelsea WILL win this seasons title but I say disregard. Yes, they had the best transfer window, however their undoing will solely be on one reason. One that is so vital that when it's missed the whole fulcrum of success comes down tumbling
That reason is squad cohesion. Pep with all his football experience failed to win it in his first season and so did Klopp with his gengen press. It was after their teams had cohesion and understanding in the managers ideas did either team win it.
Lampard for one is yet to have a recognized formation let alone style of play. We know he's trying to play the ball from the back but his over reliance on crosses from wide areas won't cut it for Premier league success.
His hesitancy to make quick changes in his team will also affect him and I fear might get him the sack. I hate to be the doomsayer of my own team but Chelsea just isn't ready. We will definitely see the occasional sparkle from players brought in.
But at the end we will know the winner by the number of points accumulated. And I doubt it will be Chelsea given they have miles to cover. May the best team win but it certainly isn't Chelsea. @Fentuo_ @eastsportsman @blessjaylin @GYNO__ @enochmk 🤝
