I often regret being an arrogant employer.
Was fortunate to work for a great organisation with an insane amount of new job applicants to choose from.

95% of the time submissions were way off. But many came close.
For all their efforts, I almost never provided valuable feedback.
I vented on social about the lack of quality submissions too.
The excuse I would tell myself is that I was way too busy to give feedback.

When I resigned from my role I wanted things to be different.
I created a guide to expand on the job description and provide some further insights on the role which I had been in for 7 years.

Good on you if you work for a great organisation and your roles are in high demand.
You may not be able to give feedback to everyone, but don't underestimate the power of sending the elevator back down from time to time.
In whatever way you can.
Especially now.
