Within 4 weeks a former Pastor from America sent my fake account a picture of his penis after a DM

I questioned long and hard about how I had acted. Looked over the DM conversations. He wasn’t the only Male to approach me over twitter. Had some remarkable stuff happen. But when I see women now saying “this thing happened to me on twitter” more often than not I believe them.
What astonished me most of all was just how totally lacking in curiosity a lot of these men were. They didn’t really care for detail, they would pile in with compliments “you look beautiful” - then if I dared tweet that I was “out drinking with friends” they would be all over me
The fake social life & fake pictures I used drew in men who seemed to view account as an outlet. I was particularly surprised at the high proportion of American men. Despite differences in timezone - suspect that was part of the social circle I moved in as I kept clear of my own
I often think about writing this up more formerly - as I found it an interesting journey that challenged my own ethics. Many of the guys were known to me via other women as often jumping into women’s DMs. When I started to attract new followers it almost felt like a conspiracy
“Is there a list of female twitter accounts somewhere that creepy me share so they can harass?” Was a question I seriously asked myself at one point
Full disclosure:
I had a timeline of selfies, “going to work now” tweets and relatively mundane stuff. The selfies were nice, but not overtly “naughty” or enticement. Likes were given to jokes and other female selfies and that’s it.
