The Conservative Party are claiming, as with Carlaw & Baroness Davidson before him, that @Douglas4Moray will be Scotland’s next First Minister

Could they be right?

To see how that could be possible, you only have to look to the NI Stormont Assembly elections of 1998...
On the back of the GFA, the new devolved Government would be established.

The UK Gov, through the SOSNI’s office would be very much in control of the process, security infrastructure, media & communications, electoral process, including managing the postal vote.
MI5, JSG, JCU & other agencies we’re directly tasked with exploiting previously gathered intelligence against certain political candidates, with a number of them resigning or suffering public defamation in the media or their communities.
Embedded agents, informants & technical assets were used to monitor the activities & intentions of parties & individual candidates, then spread advance counter-messaging or distractions in the media.

Maximum division was the target, particularly amongst republican parties.
New parties/alliances were formed, misinformation on voting allegiances was propagated.

Divisions within paramilitaries nurtured by JSG agents

Extensive lobbying of business leaders to speak with staff to ‘inform’ them of how to vote, together with amplification of tribal lines
UK Gov & ‘aligned’ private companies poured significant sums of money into infrastructure & manufacturing jobs, schools etc to ‘highlight the value of the UK’ to the people, with promises of more to come.
All of these things are already happening in Scotland ahead of the May 21 elections.

Can the Conservative Party create sufficient fear, division & enticement to fracture the SNP support sufficiently to be able to form a Conservative led coalition government?

They think so.
But this is probably all just wild ‘conspiracy theory’ & ‘fake news’ nonsense, right?
