1. A thread to show the complete disregard for Samskrita by Team 5561BC with regard to dating of Mahabharata. Sri Vyasa clearly says that Sri Krishna traveled to Hastinapura for negotiations in the month of "Kaumuda".

2. The meaning of "Kaumude" - the first word in the previous shloka - means "In the month of Kartika". However, this month/date will debunk 5561BC. Hence Team 5561BC claims a different meaning for this word.
3. Take a look at the possible meanings given to the word "Kaumude". Notice the claim right at the top of the screenshot. "month of festival", "Month of moonlight" etc etc.
And notice the word on the left in each case - the FEMININE "Kaumudee"
And notice the word on the left in each case - the FEMININE "Kaumudee"
4. Now all those meanings of festival, moonlight, lotuses etc etc are all for the FEMININE "kaumudee". The word in the shloka is "kaumude" which is saptami vibhakti of "kaumuda". The saptami vibhakti of a word ending with "ee" CANNOT be "kaumude". See attached.
5. Now, on the other hand, the MASCULINE word "kaumuda" has its saptami vibhakti "kaumude" which is what is used in the shloka in Mahabharata. Take a look if still unsure.
7. It means "month of Kartika". Therefore "kaumude" means "in the month of Kartika", and nothing else.
The attempt to claim "month of lotuses" completely distorts the moola shloka of Mahabharata, and is completely untenable.
