If this country had just acted responsibly from Day 1 we wouldn’t be in this position. But those that asked we lock down and handle it properly so we could get back to normal were called lazy, Marxists, leftists, Trots and ‘fattened by furlough.’ Now we’re fucked.
The working class in this country joining in with accusations of ‘laziness’ was when I realised people here are sick in their heads. Working class Tories will kill us all.
I see how my sister has been able to get on with her life in New Zealand with barely a blip and I am so annoyed I didn’t get out of here when I had the chance.
Whole industries have been decimated. So many unemployed. Some businesses with zero chance of recovery. But a man who looks like he’s had his head squished in a vice worth £200m offers you half price meals at Wetherspoons and people treat him like a national hero.
And I don’t want to hear any excuses about how poor white working class people have been manipulated and tricked into voting for Brexit. Amazing how the same propaganda doesn’t affect working class Black/POC that grew up in the same areas, attended the same schools. Wonder why?
People have actually been out on the streets to demonstrate against wearing masks but not to hold this corrupt thieving government to account. The actual fucking state of this place. I’m so mad I have to send my daughter to school everyday exposing her to this disease.
And if anyone thinks for one tiny second that Steer Karmer (thanks Auntie Diane) is the solution to any of this you need a dry slap. Murdoch newspapers don’t champion any one that works in the interests of the people. How many times do people have to get burnt to learn?!
And for a country that’s so virulently racist and xenophobic, the fact some Australian man that looks like a descended testicle has so much power over the decisions made here is the funniest thing of all. Pathetic people. Truly, truly pathetic. Losers.
