Tania Areori.
Tania is set to become PNG's first ever female veterinarian, after graduating from a 6 year Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Australia's Charles Sturt University. She hopes her journey will inspire others to follow their dreams.

Mazzella is PNG’s 1st female mangrove scientist. Enduring hours in mangrove patches, working with communities to complete the 1st ever mangrove forest ecology assessments along the coasts of Dadue, Divinai, & Bubuleta villages on the East Coast of Milne Bay.
Abigail Tere-Apisah
Abigail was the first woman from the Pacific Islands to win a professional Tennis singles tournament. Abigail collected three gold medals at last year's Pacific Games in Samoa, winning the women's singles, doubles and team titles. #PNGWomenMatter
Ore Toua
In 2017 Ore was awarded a Post Grad Dip in Maritime Energy, a new area of study in the Maritime Sector offered by World Maritime Uni &Lloyds Maritime Academy. She is the 1st woman in Maritime, 1st PNGean & Pacific Islander to receive this qualification. #PNGWomenMatter
