I can't wait to get back into the office - I'm much more productive. But my commute is only ~25 min walk/10 min cycle, and I have my office to myself.
If I had to spend 000s on a rail card and lost 2/3 hours a day on a can we pass off as a train, I'd be less enthused.

So why on earth the gov't is so eager to get people back to work? This is a great chance to encourage rebalancing how we 'do' work - if I was a local auth I'd be building 'shared workspaces'/WeWorks with great internet and amenities.
